Organizational Training

Christy Pruitt-Haynes creates, facilitates, and delivers training sessions tailored to your specific needs. She believes that training is not a "one size fits all" endeavor so she will work with an individual, a team or your entire organization to discover the cause of gaps in performance and devise a customized solution to meet your identified objectives.

Training classes vary in length and scope but all utilize a variety of training tools that reach every style of learner.  Combining lecture, activities, class room participation, small group work...and fun, your organization will walk away with applicable and tangible skills they can immediately apply to their day to day professional lives.  Below are descriptions of some of the training courses she has developed ad delivered in the past:

On-Boarding

How much does your employee’s beginning determine their ending?

The first 90 days of employment typically determine the ultimate success or failure of a new hire. Learn how to set your newly acquired “most valuable resource” up to be an effective long term contributor. Learn what you should do during the critical, “getting to know you phase,” to make sure your new hire has all of the necessary components to hit the ground running—and enjoy most every step.

Social Styles in Communication

I said it clearly so why don’t they get it?

Whether it's your spouse, your boss or your direct reports, there are always people that you find it easier to communicate with and others you would just assume avoid at all costs. This course will help you understand why and give you easy tools to improve your relationships through communication. You will explore your preferred communication style, learn how to quickly determine someone else’s style, and learn strategies for better communication with others based on their individual style. You will be able to improve challenging work relationships and further develop healthy ones through the art of effective communication.

Succession Planning

Who’s up next?

When we were kids playing ball or jumping rope, we always knew who was next to take a turn because they called it. Determining the next level of leadership isn't quite as easy as yelling out, "I got next" however, it's vitally important to ensure the longevity and continued success of your business. In this session you will learn how to determine the future needs of your organization, how to ensure your company has the talent necessary to meet those needs, how to avoid only working with the "chosen one," and how to make sure you don't feel threatened throughout the process.

Resumé 101

Can you create a resume that will garner POSITIVE attention?

Most recruiters spend less than 30 seconds reviewing a candidate’s resume. In those few moments, the word choice, style, and information on that piece of paper need to jump up and scream HIRE ME! This course will go over tips to make sure your resume is one that quickly rises to the top of the stack. From format to font and content to customization, we'll make sure your resume is a positive representative of your skills, knowledge, and abilities. Bring your current resume and a job description or ad you would like to target as your next opportunity.

Interview 101

How do you turn an interview into the offer you desire?

Getting an interview for your dream job is the first step. After that you only have a few minutes to WOW the interviewer and make sure you tell them everything they need to know to realize you are the person for that position. This session will teach you proven tips to highlight your strengths, minimize any weaknesses, and leave the interviewer saying we need this person ASAP. Learn how to prepare for an interview, how to answer questions, how to give information that the interviewer hasn't asked for, and what questions you need to ask to close the deal.

Is there an issue in your organization that needs to be brought out into the open and analyzed? Would your team benefit from the perspective of a coach who can challenge them to exercise or develop “corporate muscles” they haven’t used before? Have you looked at your own skill set to guarantee every tool is directed at your bottom line?

Christy Pruitt-Haynes has the expertise and experience to address these questions and more. Don’t be afraid to reach out to her. A successful professional is one who knows how to access the answers and information they need to meet all of their objectives.
